Arline Delores Logan, 85, of Cleveland, Ohio was called to her heavenly home on 8 March 2024.
She was born in the union of the late Griffin Newett and Ollie Williams Newett on May 28, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the fifth of eight children, five of whom precede her in death.
On August 25th, 1962, Arline married William Edward Logan (preceded her in death). They were married for 33 years. They did not have any children, but they raised her niece, Pauletta Newett, as their own.
Arline joined the Cleveland Church of Christ in May 1972, and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in October 1972. For 50+ years, she served faithfully as a member of the usher board ministries.
Her interests included sewing, baking, crocheting, and traveling. She travelled to more than 20 states within the United States and cruised to 15 countries within Europe. She was known for her homemade rolls and cakes. On any given day, if you stopped by her home, the dining room table would be covered with baked goods, or rising rolls.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter/niece Pauletta Newett; one sister Clementine Newett; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Shanda Newett; Sisters-in-Christ: Carol Moore, Sylvia Cook, Leslie Conwell and Phyllis Pannell; many nieces and nephews; and the Cleveland Church of Christ - Citadel of Hope Ministries family.
