George Gresham

George Gresham Jr. was born on November 20, 1964 in Warrensville Heights, Ohio to George Gresham Sr. (deceased) and Betty J. Gresham.  He attended Outhwaite Elementary School in Cleveland and Eastwood Elementary School in Warrensville Hts.  In 1983 he graduated from Warrensville Hts. Senior High where he played football, basketball and ran track.   He attended Bowling Green University for three years.

After leaving Bowling Green, George began working at BAX Global Airline Delivery. He worked there for 23 years (until their closing). Afterwards he worked at Sysco Foods Wholesale Distribution and the Kichler Lighting Company.

George often attended Holy Trinity Baptist Church with his mother Betty.  George possessed a charming, genial character that made him a good and loyal friend.   He was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He enjoyed playing golf and was a loyal Cleveland sports fan of the Cavaliers, Browns and Guardians. He was also a most loving and attentive caregiver for his mother Betty who he assisted daily with her many health challenges.

George peacefully went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024. He leaves to cherish in his memory, his mother Betty J. Gresham, aunts Lynn Thompson (Alan), Dareen Wiley (Henry) cousins McKinley Wiley (Ramat), Lena Chou (Phanna), Michelle Silver (Rob), Marsha Lawson and host of other family and friends.
